Getting Oolite to work on the Quest would require a pretty hefty rendering engine rewrite. More specifically, rendering to framebuffers would have to be added. Although there would be many benefits from doing this (with Quest support being one of the minor ones), I am not sure that we are in position to attempt this currently. The other point here is that most likely a UI redesign might be in order too, as well as additions for freelook first person camera etc. Oolite was never designed with VR support in mind and VR is not something you can just throw at a game at have it working.
