bugreporters are never a pain but an asset to Oolite. You should get a badge for spotting this and going to the trouble of deducing it down to a small set of possible culprits

I think it was really killing the collision detection algos way back then. complexity went hyperbolic, So no matter of how good your computer was, it all crawled to a halt waaaay before what we wanted ;-) ... so stuff had to be spaced out, etc etc.

it was once the most feature laden 'atmospheric' add on, never really got out of Beta (or rather alpha) because it had a bit of feature creep, heehee. The graveyard was in fact a bit of a playground for grand ideas, like how many asteroid-monuments-derelicts... can we really get in a close proximity...

The best outcome the UK can hope for now is speedy entry into the European Economic Area - where we have to pay the EU membership fees, accept free movement of EU citizens, and accept all EU regulations without getting to vote on what those regulations say.
