I thought the best one though was the acronym for the "United Nations Platform for Space-based Information for Disaster Management and Emergency Response" which they managed to make into..... "UN-SPIDER"!

United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs

Nice to know that we have one.

Link to the official site here and to a story on the Independent website here.

Notice that the acronym is UNOOSA - those double 'o's get everywhere!

I favour it as a link on the Wiki page (presumably where it says ‘Index of OXPs’). It seems that being an admin has removed my right to vote in polls (unless I’ve already voted and forgotten about it)… I feel somewhat disenfranchised. I had the same thing, I can't remember voting but as I can't vot...

As far as I can recall I've always saved in ~/Documents/My name/, just checked and that's where Oolite (1.74.2) defaults to, but could that be something I changed? :?

"I was working on writing MMOOolite, but then fell into witchspace of despair when I realized that I'd actually coded a Space Cow simulator instead of a multi-player version of Oolite. I ended up cutting off my right ear and couldn't hear myself scream, although maybe that's because I was in Space"...

So get yourself the new new BGS from Svengali and PAGroove. You don't tell me what to do. I'll look at the others though. :?: :?: I feel that's a bit harsh. DaddyHoggy took the time to respond to your request ..what new oxps should I download?... by telling you what, in his opinion, are the oxps th...

i think somehow Google got their photos messed up in regard to dates... The convenience store is the rebuild public loo, that's why it seems so seamless. You can even see how the roof the loo matches the repainted yellow roof of the convenience store. if you drive down behind the loo, you can even ...

LOL, and it only exists if you stand just in the right place. Move along the roads in any direction by one click of the mouse and it's not a store, it's a toilet. Perhaps it's some sort of cloaking device???

Unfortunately, as far as I can see, its PC only. :(

I'm on a 2.13GHz Macbook with 2GB of RAM and Oolite runs well with loads of OXPs and full shaders - it should go like a dream on that machine.

On a related note. Is editing of oxp wiki pages limited to the wiki fairies or can anyone edit them? I was looking at adding my SIRF update but could not see any obvious edit functions and assumed that for consistency of the pages it might be restricted access, Seeing what can happen to some wiki's...
