Re: Any fans of Cosplay on the forums?

Well, the price of the calendar was pretty high and anyone willing to pay that much must be a devoted fan. If they had been able to find an entry level price low enough for casual fans, it might have worked.

Working link for non-UK members . You mean US-members (or to be more precise, amazon.com-members). I got mine through amazon.de, which is where I am registered as a user. :D I'd use .de more than I currently do as well, but the language is locked to German, as far as I can see, and my German is not...

Re: David Braben's Elite: Dangerous

AFAIK, these will be player controllable ships and all player controllable ships will also be able to enter atmospheres - thus the fins are understandable. What is less undestandable is the design that clearly hints towards artificial gravity when there should not be any.

Re: Ships: original Elite/Oolite vs. Elite: Dangerous

it is also a mystery to me why they rounded those sharp edges off  I agree with this as well. The excuse that the changes have to do with internal space does not really pan out when you consider the fact that they could just have made the hull bigger and there would have been no need to round...

Re: Elite: Dangerous - Design Decision Forum

I actually like the idea of named ships garnering fame as great deeds are performed with them. I'd hope that this means that the very famous ships will remain in the game even if the original owner decides to sell them - perhaps getting a better price for the ship. The new owner who buys the ship (f...
