If you open up your savegame in a text editor, do a search for 'feudal_score' and you can see how many you have. If it's already above 40 then there could be a problem (always a possibility when it comes to one of my OXPs!)

Rest assured you have 5 more ranks of nobility ahead of you!

I assume you've been carrying out lots of missions in an attempt to get a promotion? You need 40 points to go above a knight. Delivery and tribute missions only get you 1 or 2 points per time, but escort missions can net you 20 points if they're fully successful. I kept the scoring system rather hid...

Do you have some Thargoid-based addons installed? You might want to remove them for this section of the mission otherwise interplanetary space might be a bit busy (not to mention dangerous!). The Hunting Lodges should be appearing in the same systems as the ones with the Royal Courts on the planet surface and listed in the PDF readme. If things aren't happening as they should can you note down the system and galaxy you're in and I'll check things out.

You can't destroy the ship with any normal equipment, including an energy bomb. You were meant to pick up some equipment in Raceedat, before you went over to Isanla. Unfortunately the mission screen thinks you've already got it, so is a bit misleading! I've modified the OXP to add in some reminders ...

That's a good point. Other OXP missions set in Galaxy 4 postpone the Nova mission to stop this happening. I'll do the same for this mission so people can play properly first time through.

I think a scanner with 2 or 3 x the range of the current one might be too much of an advantage, but only if it had all the same features. The main thing I'd have a problem with is being able to identify a ship through the coloured lollipops - I like the idea of not knowing for certain whether a ship...

What if one of the crew members was a sensor technician specialist? When the player has one on duty, maybe the scanner display could extend over a larger area (though this would not be doable in the current version I assume.) Such a person could also run Ramirez's proposed advanced targeting scanne...
