Re: HyperCargo OXP

Just chipping in (I know that HyperCargo is not maintained, I might think about adopting this OXP :-D ) about another... well, problem. First, when using HyperCargo, captured offenders/fugitives in this HyperCargo bubble are not found by GalCop authorities. This is somewhat locical since they are in...

Re: Number of vessel berths at each station

This gives plenty of scope for all the ships that could be added to a system by oxp with perhaps a possibility that a station in a popular system could reach capacity at some point. I have at least seen messages in my console window that launching of trader ships has been cancelled because of too l...

Re: [Release] EscortDeck v1.2 and EscortPack v1.1

After some more testing I would say the new version works much better than before :-) I would consider this fixed  Another small one.. .this time a suggestion: Towbar OXP has some way to react to the towed ship's mass (I guess) by reducing maneuverability a bit when the towed ship is heavy....

Re: Email System (Release)

The "Small fix on good service level" item in the shop seems to create emails (shown in F4 as unread) but when opening the Email system, no mail is there. Log (excerpt): JavaScript warning (GalCopAdminServices 1.4.4): Unknown expansion key [maint_itemname_EQ_SERVICE_LEVEL_SMALL_FIX_4] in string. ool...

Re: Oolite Darwin Awards

I have a new observation to share  I witchspaced into a system on an ITHA Escort contract following a Trader Boa. The first I saw was this massive Exhibition between me and the target planet, and the Boa needing to go around them. Then, second scanner check, I found two offenders, in the same t...

Re: Compilation thoughts... (on Linux)

...Right now, the Windows build system allows one to go from a fully clean code check-out to a ready-to-deploy installer with one command and I would like to keep this unchanged... The same is valid for the Linux distribution-neutral installer. Since you have already resolved the issues, perhaps, a...

Compilation thoughts... (on Linux)

Hi, Today I finally managed to compile Oolite 1.81 from git on my Gentoo system. I have been hit by several problems which I had to circumvent (thanks to FreeBSD people and to the ebuild from Gentoo rion Overlay). The reported errors were not really helpful in solving the problems. I have been worki...

Re: [Release] EscortDeck v1.2 and EscortPack v1.0

Hi Norby, I did a little testing with the latest release, so far the docking procedure seems to have improved significantly. I was even able to manage a photo shooting without losing one single escort :-) Unfortunately I had a major accident and I am not sure if and how this is related to your last ...

Re: Screenshots

Nice! That must have been "fun" to set up.. Well it was a bit of work but it was only half-assed staged. I forgot to unequip the Towbar but didn't want to redo it :D I also wanted to have this nice station to have their red blinkenlights on, but the timing was always bad. Also, the Camera drones ar...

Re: [Release] EscortDeck v1.2 and EscortPack v1.0

I'd either enhance this distance, or decrease the timer delay. Thank you for the testing, here is an update, please try it. EscortDeck v1.2 contain: -Refined escort landing sequence to prevent collisions, thanks to QCS. -Added a collisionException between the Witchpoint Beacon and escorts. -Fixed r...

Re: [Release] EscortDeck v1.1 and EscortPack v1.0

I did a little test, increased the "catching" distance from 500m to 1000m. I did not lose one single ship in "normal" docking procedures (mediocre speed), and one by me heading at Q-Charger speed directly into the front laser of the trusty Wolf "Feersum Endjinn". So I guess, for a combination of qui...

Re: Email System (Release)

I may have found another small bug or two. I docked at Laenin's A-stromine Penal station without docking clearance (simply forgot.. gah). I was fined the neckbreaking sum of 3.9 Cr. The email says I am fined 3.890000000000000000006 Cr. (don't count the number of zeros... :D ) Also, the email is sign...

Re: Maybe a hint on the problem with stalled docking queues?

I am not sure. It was in Laenin system (G1), around a A-stromine Penal station (GalCop owned, near Witchpoint Beacon). GalCop reported considerate Pirate activity upon entering the system. I believe the pirates were from different groups as they rather coincidentally entered station space from diffe...
