It's a bit too late for you now, but if you have 2 save names, like cmmr X1 & cmmr X2, then swap between them each time you save, then you will always have one extra backup.

Lurking in the shadows of a very realistic shipyard. http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t301/opusjody/v7cut.jpg and supervising the retrieval of a disabled, but intact cobra (with quite a valuable cargo, which I know nothing about whatsoever, if anyone asks.) http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t301/...

Keeping outworld & oolite separate

Normally not a problem. However, this summer (?) I was doing my job of providing the sound at a festival, when a cloaked Imp Explorer with a seriously pimped Krait tried an assassination attempt on me! I only survived as i was in the 'front of house' tent with the mixing desk. I thought incursions i...

hi. I'll gladly test RS if you like? I've been loving it so far! I have noticed a couple of NPC ships where the 'jet flume' has appeared too large for the ship, and one where it started in front of the ship (!?) it may well not be to do with RS, but is that the sort of thing you want people to look ...

indeed.
aiming for a black ship against a black background was proving to be a real test for 'the force.'
i turned shaders down, thinking it was my 'puter, but are you saying it'll work on 1.72?
hmmm.

New monitor

Greetings! I reckon all you on here have got to be the best people to ask where the best place is to look for a new/2ndhand large flatscreen monitor? the ship that needs a new windscreen is a minimac. the plug required has 2 banks of 9 pins in square formation, and a horizontal tab with 2 pins above...

'[' and ']' are a good choice, being a handed pair, next to eachother, not previously assigned and not a million miles from ',' and '.'

I definitely read before of someone who had the same experience when loading the bbc controls into a 'new' 1.71 download.

hmm. still having problems i'm afraid, sorry. I got the keyconfig.plist from the ctrl rightclick thingy - thanks for that - and it does now have all sorts of extra controls that look like they can be changed, however, i don't seem to be able to edit them. I changed the new plist to read&write from r...

Hmmm. It appears to me that my config file has numbers (44 46 etc)for up, down, left roll, right roll, faster & slower. no yaw visible(?) the putting of these controls on top of the 'normal' controls, where < and > are indeed yaw would seem to be the problem. should i either: 1/ look for the yaw con...

Ah! indeed I mean Roll, not Yaw

so, to correct myself:
"left" is a combination of roll and yaw, where i want it to be roll only.

I'll be back shortly with config file. must feed the kidz 1st!
