Re: Game style

Not what I ment atall The game is getting too constructed. i.e. queuing for docking?? Competing with Elite? "Realizim?" I stripped it back to 80 for fun. still get a laugh shooting the station and taking the vipers out. Try that in your Cob3 But make sure you have military lasers or it will be a ver...

Still fly my Gertrude. But do play 'The witcher' and 'Wolfenstein' And 'Oolite 80' The later versions were just not fun to me. The first Witcher, I kicked ass. The first Wolfenstein back in the early 90's, Kicked ass! Now I have the later games on disc. So can play any time. Wow, talk about an ass ...

Re: Time of Day

time is an arbitrary label . who is to say what time it actually is?? if i take one step west then technically its a different time to where i was. DST is just temporarily changing the label applied to " now" if you work 9 to 5, then why not work 8 to 4 in the summer and leave the bloody clocks alo...

Re: A question of lore

If a feline race developed AI they probably abandoned it when all it did was want to play with catnip mouseoids and sleep all day! What is AI? Maybe an A ctual I ntelligence from the borders of the Ooniverse. Feline races were found to be easily distracted. Though have an easy trigger for violence ...

Re: Anti malware program

I use Avira free version. It gives one pop up per session. Bottom right of screen asking if I want the 'pro' version.
It has cought quite a few that MS misses.
Also have the free malwarebytes which I rarely remember to use, sometimes years.

Re: Old silly game called Bubbleit

It was on pc. I was running win98 back then. was bubbleit though may be 2 words bubble it. The trick to the game was to keep as many bubbles on the board as you can and to drop as many same coloureds that were touching at a time for higher points. Game is over when the board is full but there are no...

Old silly game called Bubbleit

An oldie but addictive. Played this years ago. Was great for babysitting 6-10's. 20 odd years ago. The coloured bubbles came in from the left, match 2 or more and click them, they would drop off the bottom giving points. New bubbles coming in to replace them. Sounds easy, ye. Did I say addictive? My...

Just a thought so I don't need heaps of "HUMFFs" Imagine a surfer on the ocean sitting. He's just going up and down and in what ever directions smaller than the waves effect. We think light is a wave and may be a particle. What if we had a light frequency generator controlled by enough comping power...

Re: Star Wars and sequenced movies

i think that is the hardest movie to make. a well regarded book is a timebomb waiting to go off.... everybody has their own idea what it should look like and how it should be shot. the old adage "Damned if you do , Damned if you dont" springs to mind. why does Hollywood think it necessary to remake...

Politically Correct

PC Once upon a time it ment Police Constable. Still does to me. Makes me laugh that some get upset that I call a man hole a man hole and a fireman a fireman. I'll make it straight with; Who gives a damn who's under the uniform. If you can carry the required weight down a ladder from a flaming buildi...
