Great oxp, but that's just me, imho. Adds the feeling of creating and tinkering with a Character/Avatar in RPGs to your ship.

iirc the witchspace effect comes with BGS oxp/oxz if you enable shaders. The Griff ships included in the core game are toned down (based on Captain Solo's work), that can also be used on low spec machines. basically all what the others say. Been a cargo hauler up until recently, and had a Griff Ophidian (which is an oxp/oxz expansion ship). It's slower than the cobby, but has a bigger cargo hold (65t iirc). With a Advanced Navigational Array you can get the quickest route, to be in time. Without OXPs ...

iirc frontier "produced" fertilizer when transporting crucial forced labour staff for the empire (slave is such a nasty word) and forgetting a cargo bay life support.
