Emancipate the slaves?

How about, when docked, an option to free any slaves you have instead of selling them. You get no money, but, well, you get to feel better about yourself :D

Eric, there are 2 different things here. All ships become CARGO when the pilot ejects. That might be a good thing, maybe not. Bugger. Thargoids don't ever eject, as far as I know - certainly there's no visible pod if they do - yet I only got one kill for bumping off two of them. :( Now I'm just confused. Well, it certainly happens with the shield tail when i run in the degugger. It may not be caused by ejection, but it is certainly caused by the scanclass being Cargo at the time it is killed. This seems to be caused by the scanClass sometimes being set to CLASS_CARGO, which I think i happening when the pilot ejects. Yeah, I get the same thing on my machine (just tested it) no kill for a shield tail.

It only has one subentity, a flasher.

I tried it, but giving up 5t of space for the kind of money on offer, for multiple hops. Just a waste of time unfortunately. Makes an interesting change once in a while, but doesnt really make sense to me.
