Re: Insane attack levels

[wiki]Combat MFD[/wiki]? nothing shows up on the screen. Working well at me, so: -Is there a Combat MDF equipment listed in your ship (F5)? -Are you tried to press ";" and ":" keys (the keys you have in oolite.app/Resources/Config/keyconfig.plist as key_cycle_mfd and key_switch_mfd ) enough times t...

Re: Insane attack levels

[wiki]Combat MFD[/wiki]? Sorry: not working. At least in oolite 1.82 for me. it worked once and then stopped to work. I uninstalled the pack and reinstalled and it does still not work as in nothing shows up on the screen. I installed distant suns to verify that oxzs do work, and they work fine. I c...

Re: Insane attack levels

Super-Krait? You mean Griff's chopped Krait? I think that OXP has a test script in it which needs removing. nope, just the standard krait: role "light-pirate". I usually get jumped 2 of these + one insane moray and a single sidewinder. Even the Sidewinder has become remarkably resilient. Actually i...

Re: Insane attack levels

Well. I think the games amount of Over Powered pirates that attack you are a tad much. For my standard cobra 3 with no shield booster, beam laser, extra energy unit and so on I cant even kill a Krait before the beam laser overheats. How on earth would someone with a pulse laser be able to defend aga...

Re: Will Oolite survive with the release of Elite Dangerous?

Sure it will. ED had so much potential. Sadly it has fizzed out into a remake of FFE.
A very large, dull and uninteresting universe and the whole cargo mass lock debacle.

Re: Screenshots

Meanwhile... Does this remind you of any particular sci-fi film or is it just me? http://i1365.photobucket.com/albums/r742/stevensemail/oolite-014-Copy_zpsaa459194.png The screenshot reminds me of a movie from 1974, John Carpenters "Dark Star". The screenshot looks like the scene where Bomb No. 19 ...

Re: Debug Console

The latest release 1.77.1 Windows exe have an annoying side effect while developing. If you type anything resulting in an error, the debug console window looses focus on a two screen setup where one is running OOlite in Fullscreen It means you have to grab your mouse and click on the debug console a...

Re: Bug/feature for Docking bay on Derelict stations.

Ahh Thanks Cim , i Totally missed those new methods. However I did check the station & ship objects where there is no mention of this in the documentation. I would never have thought
it would be documented as an object on its own.

Thanks again, you are doing great work.

Bug/feature for Docking bay on Derelict stations.

This is for the release, 1.77.1 however unless someone tampered with the collision code I think this one remains in current releases. if you put a subentity at any range in front of the docking area at any range (tested up to 10 km), the player can fly right trough it, (this is with is_dock set to f...

Re: 177. Deployment to Test release patcher do not work

Sorry failure 40.

I presumed it patched the installer, and due to some clutter on the Desktop, I didn't notice a new installer being created. and dropped right under the waste bin.

Sorry..
